DIY Brown Gravy Pack

I only ever buy brown gravy packets on a needed basis, meaning I only buy it if Hubby requests a meal that requires it. 9 times out of 10 I don’t have a packet of gravy when he requests open faced meatloaf or meatballs and mashed potatoes. So here’s a DIY recipe for those oh-so inconvenient times.

What you need:

  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 4 beef bouillon cubes (or 1 tbsp crushed)
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

First thing you need to do is crush your bouillon if it isn’t already. Easiest way to do that is with a food processor.

Lastly, add it all to a ziploc bag and shake.

Voila!

Don’t hurt yourself with that one! Now that I have it mixed, I feel obligated to finally make Hubby’s requested meatballs and mashed potatoes.
