For years now I have been trying to perfect my chicken marinade recipe and it’s finally exactly what I want. I love this easy recipe because it transforms and plain ole cut of chicken into something crazy delicious. It really is the BEST chicken marinade ever!
I love grilling up a big batch of chicken and this recipe is great for that. It makes enough for about 6 chicken breasts or approximately 4 pounds of chicken.
This recipe couldn’t be easier. Just whisk together a bunch of ingredients in a large bowl and pour it over the chicken in a large ziploc bag.
I marinate my chicken for at least 3 hours. Of course the longer you marinate, the better it will be!
Here’s what you need:
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
- 1/2 cup zesty Italian dressing
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
When you’re ready to go, grill on medium-high heat until cooked thoroughly. Use the leftover marinade for basting.
I hope you give this marinade a try soon. You’ll never marinate any other way!
Here’s to the upcoming week. It’s going to be a wet one. Our property is flooded so I’m not quite sure where 5 more days of rain is going to go. I may need a boat before it’s over!
