These refried beans are so easy – only 3 ingredients! – and will turn canned refried beans into restaurant style beans super fast! They are the perfect side dish to any Mexican meal.
What you need:
- 1 can refried beans (any brand will work just the same)
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
All you do here is empty everything into a sauce pan and stir until it’s hot.
Toppings? Yes, please! If you like cheese on top, pour the hot beans into a dish, top with cheese and put in the oven until the cheese is melted. I’m one of those people that mix their rice and beans together – but I also add a little salsa to the mixture too. Absolutely nothing like it!
I doubled the recipe and between the 3 of us, we finished them! I served them with taco boats and taco rice and it was the most delicious Taco Tuesday we have had in a long, long time! It was so delicious that my husband, who never (and I do mean NEVER) eats leftovers, ate the freaking leftovers!
For the love, these are the best damn refried beans you’ve ever tasted. Hubs even said they’re better than restaurant style! Can’t say that I don’t agree!
When I say I’m glad today is Friday, I say that with in the most dramatic sense of the word ‘glad’. It’s been one hell of a week! The most exciting thing about this weekend is going to be Jase’s haircut – and I’m looking forward to that kind of slowed down, unexciting weekend!
