Saturday Points Post

A few days ago I posted a weight loss selfie on Facebook. I'm 21 pounds down in case you haven't heard! And 👇🏻 I made that before I lost that extra pound 😂

Several people said they wanted to see some of my recipes. While all of my meals don't necessarily come from a recipe, per se, I would love to share what I eat on a daily basis. I literally am asked almost daily what I eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I am questioned on the Weight Watchers points system and how many points certain foods are. There's a common misconception that because Weight Watchers is a diet system that some foods are off limits. 100% UNTRUE. I eat whatever I want! While I highly recommend signing up for a Weight Watchers membership to reap the full benefits of the system, it is my absolute pleasure to share and help! 

I thought about posting a daily recipe / meal idea, but I like this idea better: how about my daily use of total points? FYI, I get 30 points a day. The more weight you lose, the less points you get. Go here to see how many points you're allowed. 

Breakfast: Rice Krispies Treat – 4 SmartPoints

Lunch: Super easy and filling salad – 7 SmartPoints

  • Lettuce – 0 SmartPoints
  • 1/4 cup Velveeta shredded cheese – 2 SmartPoints
  • 2 tbsp Ken's ranch dressing 

Dinner: Mississippi Pot Roast – 10 SmartPoints 

  • 4 oz chuck roast – 3 SmartPoints (all ingredients to make the pot roast are 0 SmartPoints)
  • 1/2 cup instant mashed potatoes – 4 SmartPoints
  • 1 slice Natures Own Whitewheat bread – 1 SmartPoint

Snack: 1 oz Pringles Lightly Salted Sour Cream and Onion – 5 SmartPoints

Snack: 1 PhillySwirl Italian Shaved Ice – 4 SmartPoints
