Nieman Marcus Dip

Everyone – myself included – always wonders why this dip is called Nieman Marcus Dip. So I did some research. Turns out, the Nieman Marcus retailer opened a restaurant in their flagship store in Dallas, Texas in 1953 called the Zodiac Room. Who knew?!

What you will need:2buckets

  • 5-6 green onions
  • 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 jar real bacon bits
  • 1 package slivered almonds

Make it:

  • Chop the green onions.
  • Mix onions, cheese, mayo, bacon bits, and almonds.
  • Chill for a couple of hours.
